The Clemens Buffaloes volleyball squad (Schertz, TX), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Harlan Hawks (San Antonio, TX)

With the win, Harlan improves its record to 9-3 on the season. The Hawks travel to Brennan (San Antonio, TX) to encounter the Bears in a 6A Region IV District 28 battle on Tuesday, August 26. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 11-4. Brennan won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Midlothian (Midlothian, TX)

Next, the Buffaloes meet the McAllen Memorial Mustangs (McAllen, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Clemens will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 13-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Churchill (San Antonio, TX).
