In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Clovis West Golden Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Marina Mariners.

The Golden Eagles (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Rancho Christian (Temecula, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Rancho Christian gained a win over Enterprise (Enterprise, UT), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mariners play the Pajaro Valley Grizzlies (Watsonville, CA) in a Pacific Coast - Cypress challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Marina will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
