Council Lumberjacks (Council, ID) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Vallivue Falcons (Caldwell, ID), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Council improves its record to 3-7 on the season. The Lumberjacks host Greenleaf Friends Academy (Greenleaf, ID) to face the Grizzlies in a 1A Long Pin test on Wednesday, August 27. The Grizzlies go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Falcons now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ridgevue for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 26. Vallivue will meet a Warhawks team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to South Fremont (St. Anthony, ID). The Warhawks record now stands at 2-4.
