King Panthers (Houston, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Cypress Park Tigers (Cypress, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX). The Hurricanes go into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Fort Bend Hightower beat Alief Hastings (Houston, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the Cypress Ridge Rams (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Cypress Park will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Stafford (Stafford, TX).
