In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Daviess County Panthers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Glasgow Scotties.

The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Metcalfe County got by Foundation Christian Academy (Bowling Green, KY), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Scotties meet the Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Glasgow will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Colonels enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over University Heights (Hopkinsville, KY).
