With the win, Dewey improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bulldoggers travel to Summit Christian Academy (Broken Arrow, OK) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 2-3.

The Pirates now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westville for a non-league battle on Monday, August 25. Locust Grove will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Okay (Okay, OK). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-4.
