With the win, Dexter improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Dreadnaughts travel to Huron (Ann Arbor, MI) to meet the River Rats in a South Eastern - Red contest on Tuesday, September 9. The River Rats enter the contest with a record of 0-3.

Next, the Eagles meet the Troy Colts (Troy, MI) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, August 27. Lakeland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Colts enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Brighton (Brighton, MI).
