Texas High School Volleyball - John Paul II tips Emerson

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting John Paul II Cardinals volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Emerson Mavericks.

With the win, John Paul II advances its record to 10-6 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Ursuline Academy (Dallas, TX) to face the Bears in a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. The Bears go into the test with a record of 2-9. Ursuline Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Plano (Plano, TX)

The Mavericks now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Creekview for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Emerson will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Berkner (Richardson, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-11.
