The Buccaneers (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX). The Wildcats come into the 5A Region IV District 29 challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Gregory-Portland was nudged by Arlington (Arlington, TX), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Fightin' Jerseys play the King Brahmas (Kingsville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Falfurrias will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Brahmas come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Refugio (Refugio, TX).
