North Carolina High School Volleyball - Farmville Central over Goldsboro

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Farmville Central Jaguars volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Goldsboro Cougars.

Next up, the Jaguars face the SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars (Pinetops, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, August 25. Farmville Central will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Cougars go into the game with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Hobgood Charter (Hobgood, NC).

With the loss, Goldsboro drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a Swine Valley 2A/3A outing on Tuesday, August 26. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 6-0. Wallace-Rose Hill won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC)
