Indiana High School Volleyball - Franklin Central over Martinsville

The Franklin Central Flashes volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Martinsville Artesians to 0 in the Flashes non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Flashes now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Columbus North for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 23. Franklin Central will clash with a Bull Dogs team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN). The Bull Dogs record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Martinsville drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Artesians host Plainfield (Plainfield, IN) to battle the Quakers in a Mid-State match on Tuesday, August 26. The Quakers enter the match with a record of 4-0. Plainfield won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Northview (Brazil, IN)
