In Saturday's non-league match, the L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders (Macomb, MI) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Franklin Patriots (Livonia, MI), by a margin of 2-0.

The Crusaders now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Utica Eisenhower for a Macomb Area - Red bout on Wednesday, September 3. L'Anse Creuse North will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Utica (Utica, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Franklin drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Seaholm/Groves (Birmingham, MI) to clash with the Maples in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 26.
