California High School Volleyball - Frontier can't hold off Marina

In Saturday's non-league bout, the Marina Vikings (Huntington Beach, CA) volleyball team held off the visiting Frontier Titans (Bakersfield, CA), by a margin of 2-1.
The Vikings now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Francis Parker for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 23. Marina will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Layton Christian Academy Crimson (Layton, UT). The Lancers record now stands at 2-0.
The Titans (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Horizon (Winter Garden, FL). The Hawks enter the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Horizon held off Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV), 2-0, in a non-league match.
