California High School Volleyball - Garces Memorial over Highland

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Garces Memorial Rams (Bakersfield, CA) and the host Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA), observed Garces Memorial's volleyball squad notch a victory over Highland by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Garces Memorial improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Rams travel to North (Bakersfield, CA) to encounter the Stars in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. The Stars go into the battle with a record of 1-0. North 1-1 in their recent non-league battle against Stockdale (Bakersfield, CA)

The Scots now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Legacy Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. Highland will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Wonderful College Prep Academy (Lost Hills, CA). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.
