In Saturday's non-league match, the Genoa Area Comets (Genoa, OH) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Port Clinton Redskins (Port Clinton, OH), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Comets battle the Eastwood Eagles (Pemberville, OH) in a Northern Buckeye battle, on Tuesday, August 26. Genoa Area will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Whitmer (Toledo, OH).

The Redskins now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perkins for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. Port Clinton will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Central Catholic (Toledo, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 2-2.
