The George West Longhorns prevailed the host Northeast Early College Raiders volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Longhorns confront the Sam Houston Hurricanes (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 23. George West will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to John F. Kennedy (San Antonio, TX).

With the loss, Northeast Early College drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Raiders host McCallum (Austin, TX) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 14-7.
