Texas High School Volleyball - Gilmer tips Harmony

Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX) and the visiting Harmony Eagles (Big Sandy, TX), saw Gilmer's volleyball squad nudge Harmony by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Gilmer improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Buckeyes host Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX) to encounter the Red Devils in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. The Red Devils go into the battle with a record of 6-3. Chapel Hill won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX)

The Eagles now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sabine for a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 26. Harmony will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-6.
