The Glenwood Gators (Phenix City, AL) volleyball were victorious over the host Langston Hughes Panthers (Fairburn, GA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Gators now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Paulding for a non-league match on Saturday, August 23. Glenwood will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Temple (Temple, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 8-8.
The Panthers (2-8) will now prepare for their match against LaGrange Academy (LaGrange, GA). The enter the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, LaGrange Academy notched a victory over Oak Mountain Academy (Carrollton, GA), 3-2, in a league match.
