Michigan High School Volleyball - St. Francis edged by Grandville

Grandville Bulldogs (Grandville, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Grandville improves its record to 2-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Gladiators now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leland for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 2. St. Francis will meet a Comets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI). The Comets record now stands at 0-2.
