Indiana High School Volleyball - Herron can't hold off Greenfield-Central

August 23, 2025: Indianapolis, IN 46202

In Saturday's non-league match, the Greenfield-Central Cougars (Greenfield, IN) volleyball team held off the host Herron Achaeans (Indianapolis, IN), by a margin of 2-1.

The Cougars now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Waldron for a non-league bout on Monday, August 25. Greenfield-Central will clash with a Mohawks team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Milan (Milan, IN). The Mohawks record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Herron drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Achaeans travel to Purdue Polytechnic (Indianapolis, IN) to clash with the Techies in a non-league bout on Monday, August 25. The Techies come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Purdue Polytechnic won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Irvington Preparatory Academy (Indianapolis, IN)
