The Grissom Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Oxford Yellow Jackets to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Gulf Shores for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. Grissom will play a Dolphins team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Springville (Springville, AL). The Dolphins record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Oxford drops to 0-2 on the season. The Yellow jackets host Southside (Gadsden, AL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Wednesday, August 27. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 2-1.
