Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles (Lake Station, IN), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hammond Morton improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Governors host Hebron (Hebron, IN) to meet the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 27. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.
