The Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) volleyball held off the host Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Colonels now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Todd County Central for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 23. Whitley County will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Henderson County drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Colonels travel to Glasgow (Glasgow, KY) to clash with the Scotties in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 23. The Scotties come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Glasgow lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY)
