In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Union City Golden Tornadoes volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hickman County Falcons.
The Golden Tornadoes (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY). The Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Carlisle County beat Christian Fellowship (Benton, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons meet the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado (Paducah, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 25. Hickman County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Blue Tornado come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Webster County (Dixon, KY).
