Hillcrest Panthers (Dallas, TX) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Lake Dallas Falcons (Corinth, TX), 2-1 in a non-league outing.

The Panthers now have a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Kaufman for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. Hillcrest will play a Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Pine Tree (Longview, TX). The Lions record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Lake Dallas drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX) to face the Trojans in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 26. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 5-8. Newman Smith lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Richland (Prosper, TX)
