Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA) and the visiting Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA), observed McIntosh's volleyball team hold off Jackson County by a count of 2-1.

The Chiefs (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA). The Lions go into the non-league battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Hebron Christian tipped Loganville Christian Academy (Loganville, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now own a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington-Wilkes for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. Jackson County will meet a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-4.
