In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Kaiser Cats volleyball team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the San Jacinto Tigers.

The Cats (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Palm Desert (Palm Desert, CA). The Aztecs come into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Palm Desert edged Buckley (Sherman Oaks, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Xavier Prep Saints (Palm Desert, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 26. San Jacinto will attempt to advance on its 10-2 season record. The Saints go into the test with a 9-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Notre Dame (Riverside, CA).
