In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Kirkwood Cobras volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Union County Patriots.
The Cobras now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Calloway County for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. Kirkwood will play a Lakers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Hickman County (Clinton, KY). The Lakers record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Union County drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Patriots host Gibbs (Corryton, TN) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, August 25. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 0-3. Gibbs lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Father Ryan (Nashville, TN)
