In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Redlands East Valley Wildcats volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the La Quinta Blackhawks.
With the win, Redlands East Valley advances its record to 3-5 on the season. The Wildcats host Silverado (Victorville, CA) to face the Hawks in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 2-6.
The Blackhawks now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orange Vista for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. La Quinta will face a Coyotes squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Patriot (Jurupa Valley, CA). The Coyotes record now stands at 4-6.
