Alabama High School Volleyball - Montgomery Catholic edged by Lamar

The Montgomery Catholic Knights volleyball squad (Montgomery, AL), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Lamar Raiders (Meridian, MS)

The Raiders (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Seckinger (Buford, GA). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Seckinger got by Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Knights meet the Prattville Christian Academy Panthers (Prattville, AL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 26. Montgomery Catholic will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 4-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Pike Road (Pike Road, AL).
