In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lansing Catholic Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Mary Eagles.
The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bay City Western (Auburn, MI). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Central Wolves (Bay City, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 23. St. Mary will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
