The Lawrence County Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Munford Cougars to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Crockett County for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. Lawrence County will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Obion County (Troy, TN). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Munford drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Lausanne Collegiate (Memphis, TN) to play the Lynx in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. The Lynx come into the outing with a record of 0-4. Lausanne Collegiate lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Brighton (Brighton, TN)
