In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lewis County Lions volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Pendleton County Wildcats.

The Lions (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Clinton County (Albany, KY). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Clinton County nudged Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league game.

The Wildcats (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY). The Juggernauts go into the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Lloyd Memorial was edged by Owen County (Owenton, KY), 2-0, in a non-league game.
