Texas High School Volleyball - Sotomayor tips Long Creek

The Sotomayor WILDCATS (San Antonio, TX) volleyball held off the host Long Creek Dragons (New Braunfels, TX), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The WILDCATS now hold a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to O'Connor for a 6A Region IV District 28 contest on Tuesday, August 26. Sotomayor will battle a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Westlake (Austin, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 13-3.

Next, the Dragons battle the Reagan Rattlers (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 26. Long Creek will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Rattlers go into the battle with a 13-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX).
