In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Woodland Wolves volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Making Waves Academy Marlins.
The Wolves (2-0) will now prepare for their test against St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA). The Bruins go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, St. Patrick-St. Vincent achieved victory over Freedom (Oakley, CA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
The Marlins now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ukiah for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Making Waves Academy will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
