Georgia High School Volleyball - Marietta over Sprayberry

The Marietta Blue Devils volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Sprayberry Yellow Jackets to 0 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Blue Devils now have a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Pope for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. Marietta will play a Greyhounds team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Sprayberry drops to 5-4 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to Woodstock (Woodstock, GA) to play the Wolverines in a 5A Area 6 game on Tuesday, August 26. The Wolverines go into the game with a record of 8-7. Woodstock lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against St. Anne-Pacelli (Columbus, GA)
