Texas High School Volleyball - Wylie tips Midway

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX) and the visiting Midway Panthers (Waco, TX), saw Wylie's volleyball squad nudge Midway by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Wylie improves its record to 7-8 on the season. The Pirates travel to Lone Star (Frisco, TX) to encounter the Rangers in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. The Rangers go into the battle with a record of 9-1. Lone Star won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Sachse (Sachse, TX)

The Panthers now own a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waxahachie for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. Midway will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Argyle (Argyle, TX). The Indians record now stands at 11-8.
