California High School Volleyball - Mt. Carmel over Victory Christian Academy

The Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA) volleyball knocked off the host Victory Christian Academy Knights (Chula Vista, CA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Sundevils now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cherokee for a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. Mt. Carmel will clash with a Braves squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Murphy (Murphy, NC). The Braves record now stands at 5-1.

The Knights (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Valhalla (El Cajon, CA). The Norsemen enter the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Valhalla notched a victory over Grossmont (El Cajon, CA), 3-2, in a non-league match.
