The Powers Catholic Chargers edged the host Mt. Morris Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Coming up next, the Chargers play the Freeland Falcons (Freeland, MI) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, September 3. Powers Catholic will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Brandon (Ortonville, MI).
The Panthers (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Yale (Yale, MI). The Bulldogs come into the non-league bout with a 5-0 record. In their last bout, Yale nipped Cousino (Warren, MI), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
