Norte Vista Braves (Riverside, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Santa Rosa Academy Rangers (Menifee, CA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Braves (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bloomington (Bloomington, CA). The Bruins come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Bloomington was nudged by Garey (Pomona, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rangers meet the Temecula Prep Patriots (Winchester, CA) in a South Valley challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Santa Rosa Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Hamilton (Anza, CA).
