Virginia High School Volleyball - North Cross over Timberlake Christian

The North Cross Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Timberlake Christian Tornadoes to 0 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Raiders now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host StoneBridge for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. North Cross will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Timberlake Christian drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Southwest Virginia Academy (Roanoke, VA) to confront the Conquerors in a non-league match on Saturday, August 23. The Conquerors enter the match with a record of 2-0. Southwest Virginia Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Dayspring Christian Academy (Blacksburg, VA)
