Nevada High School Volleyball - Sunrise Mountain can't hold off Pahrump Valley

In Saturday's non-league match, the Pahrump Valley Trojans (Pahrump, NV) volleyball squad tipped the host Sunrise Mountain Miners (Las Vegas, NV), by a count of 2-1.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Boulder City Eagles (Boulder City, NV) in a 3A Southern battle, on Monday, August 25. Pahrump Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 3-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon (Henderson, NV).

The Miners now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. Sunrise Mountain will encounter a Pirate squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (Henderson, NV). The Pirate record now stands at 0-2.
