In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Williamsburg Yellow Jackets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pineville Mountain Lions.
The Yellow Jackets (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jellico (Jellico, TN). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Jellico beat Greenback (Greenback, TN), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Mountain Lions play the Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs (Hazard, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Pineville will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Leslie County (Hyden, KY).
