Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV) and the visiting Portola Tigers (Portola, CA), observed Reed's volleyball team top Portola by a count of 2-0.

The Raiders (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Damonte Ranch was knocked off by Carson (Carson City, NV), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigers meet the Loyalton Grizzlies (Loyalton, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, August 27. Portola will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Grizzlies enter the contest with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, CA).
