The Timpview Thunderbirds (Provo, UT) volleyball overcame the visiting Rancho Rams (Las Vegas, NV), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.
The Thunderbirds (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Salem Hills (Salem, UT). The Skyhawks enter the 5A Region 7 contest with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Salem Hills dropped by Mountain View (Orem, UT), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Rams now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chaparral for a 4A Southern - Sky battle on Monday, August 25. Rancho will encounter a Cowboys squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-6.
