Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Sharyland Rattlers (Mission, TX) and the visiting Stevens Falcons (San Antonio, TX), observed Sharyland's volleyball team top Stevens by a tally of 2-0.
The Rattlers (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Nixon was defeated by McAllen (McAllen, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pioneer for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Stevens will face a Diamondbacks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East Central (San Antonio, TX). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 10-1.
