California High School Volleyball - Shasta can't hold off University Prep

August 23, 2025: Redding, CA 96001

In Saturday's non-league match, the University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Panthers confront the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 29. University Prep will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Carson (Carson City, NV).

With the loss, Shasta drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 26. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 0-4. Central Valley lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Enterprise (Redding, CA)
