Nevada High School Volleyball - Somerset Sky Pointe can't get by West Valley

August 23, 2025: Las Vegas, NV 89131

West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Somerset Sky Pointe Eagles (Las Vegas, NV), 2-1 in a non-league test.

The Mustangs (6-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Timpview (Provo, UT). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Timpview edged Clark (Las Vegas, NV), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the Virgin Valley Bulldogs (Mesquite, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Somerset Sky Pointe will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Mission Bay (San Diego, CA).
