In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Sonora Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Woodland Christian Cardinals.
The Wildcats (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Downey (Modesto, CA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
The Cardinals now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lathrop for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Woodland Christian will face a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Sierra (Manteca, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
