The Blue Comets (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Southwestern Randolph was nudged by Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 25. Wheatmore will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over East Davidson (Thomasville, NC).
